A recent European Commission survey says China accounts for two-thirds of all counterfeit goods seized in the European Union, says ZeeNews.
Counterfeiting and piracy costs the global economy at least USD 100 billion every year, according to WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) warns, says the story.
The statement came during the third global congress on combating counterfeiting and piracy with attendees including the heads of Interpol and the International Chamber of Commerce.
